The Christmas Pageant

Josh and Jake getting ready for the Pageant

Last night was the Primrose school pageant. The boys had been practicing their songs for weeks now and were all ready to go. Josh had to dress in a red shirt and blue jeans (which was a HUGE fight- as he doesn't like jeans) and Jake had to wear a red shirt and black pants. I wasn't sure if we were going to make it, with Jake's fat lip and Josh's low grade fever (see below posts) but they both had put too many hours in and wanted to go and perform.

First up was Josh. I was so scared he was going to clam up like last year- but nope- he looked around the crowd, spied me, waved, smiled then opened his mouth and started belting out the lyrics to Rockin' around the Christmas Tree and Winter Wonderland. In the picture, 2nd one down, he is the 5th boy from the left. I would post video but its so so large.

Next up was Jake's crew. They all had bright red noses and a bushy tail attached to there shirts and they performed 2 original songs. This little Drum, Under the tree (sang to nick nack paddy wack) and the Reindeer Pokey- which was SOOOOO cute! Int eh 3rd picture down, he is the 6th from the left.

At the end of the night all the kids got on stage again to sing we wish you a merry christmas. it was really really great.

Im a bit sad too, because this will be Jake's last Primrose Pageant. Next year, he will be onto Kindergarten.
