The Big Sleep

Yesterday Grandma called and asked the boys to come sleep over at her house, which they were soooo excited about- and I have to admit, so was I. I took them over around 5pm last night and the Johnny and I went out for supper and drinks with some friends- which was a blast. But the very very best part was this morning....I slept until 9:15am! It was HEAVEN! THe last time I slept that long was at Greg's wedding, and I was so hung-over I couldn't get out of bed....today, it was just all about sleep and quiet- no hangover. So great. Then we got up and went for breakfast. Now Im home and the kids wont be back for a few hours, so Im gonna go watch a little TV and read a little of my book.

I was saying to Johnny that days like this are great and all, but I wouldn't trade 2 rambunctious boys for anything. I like this sort of morning every now and then, but I really miss the kids! I feel sort of lost without them around and I'm looking forward to them coming home.
