Joshie had a playdate
I love that Josh's friend J lives in our neighborhood and that J's parents feel comfortable enough to go to school, pick Josh up and let him play with J without me. J is a schoolmate of Josh's but he is off for the summer as his mom is a teacher, so no need for daycare in the summer- so Josh has been missing J- we haven't seen him much yet this summer. Yesterday was J's birthday and J's parents picked Josh up from school early and went for ice cream. Then they went to J's house to play with all his new toys and his new slip n slide (HUGE HIT btw). Then they went to Macaroni Grill for supper- which was a big hit also. He got home around 7pm and he had such a good time. I love when Josh (or Jake for that matter) can go do things on their own. Its nice for them to have special things to do separately.
